(KHAAMA Press): At least one police officer was wounded in a magnetic IED blast in PD5 of Kabul city Saturday night, Kabul police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz said. The Improvised Explosive Devices had been placed on a police vehicle, he said. Ministry of Interior also said, at around 07:45 Am this morning a roadside bomb planted by the Militants was discovered and defused by the Kabul police in Hudkhel District, Kabul. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense said four rockets were seized by the security forces in the Paghman district of Kabul city. Four rockets, “placed by Taliban” in the Qul-e-Lawang area in the Paghman district of Kabul, were seized by security forces during an operation, MoD said in a statement. The statement added that ANA discovered and defused 4 mines planted by the Taliban in the Zawul district of Herat province. The mines were discovered and neutralized, security personnel saved “dozens of Herat’s residents”.  Furthermore, the Interior Ministry says militants attacked security outposts in the Nusay district of Badakhshan, leaving four border police wounded, but the security forces rebuffed the attack. In a separate incident, Asadullah Dawlatzai, spokesman to Laghman governor told media, at least 47 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in AAF and infantry strikes in Dawlat Shah district of Laghman province.
