(TOLO News): At least three policemen were killed and two others including a civilian were wounded in an explosion near a police checkpoint in the city of Herat on Sunday morning, local officials said.
The bomb was placed on a motorbike and was detonated near to a police checkpoint, said Abdul Ahad Walizada, a spokesman for Herat police. Eyewitnesses said that dozens of shops and nearby houses were damaged in the explosion.  No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
