JALALABAD CITY (BNA) More than 65 people were wounded following series of blasts took place in eastern Nangarhar province yesterday.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA reporter, the blasts occurred due to mines placed by armed oppositions in different parts of Jalalabad city the provincial capital of the province, in which over 65 people were injured.
Afghan national police personnel succeeded to discover and defuse several round of mines that planted by anti-government militias for disrupting a ceremony was held to celebrate 100th Independence Anniversary of the country, Khogyani added.
