KABUL (Pajhwok): A powerful explosion took place in Mirwise Maidan area of capital Kabul on Wednesday morning, an official said.
Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), told Pajhwok Afghan News that the blast happened at 9:30 am in the morning.
But an eyewitness said the explosion occurred at the entrance of 6th police district.
However, clearing operations against rebels are underway by NDS personnel in three areas of Kabul.
