 Located in Kabul, Afghanistan, CAPS is an independent, research centre that
strives to conduct action-oriented research which will influence
policy-makers. It works diligently towards building local capacity to
produce conflict and threat assessments that will influence the safety and
security of the people serving the governments, and international aid
organizations.

Mr. Khoshal Niyazee is currently a Finance Officer at the Center for Conflict and Peace Studies (CAPS) in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is responsible for all the accounting and the financial procedures at CAPS, designing and maintaining systems and ensuring strict compliance with internationally recognized accounting principles. Mr. Khoshal has background in Mathematics and Finance. He has worked as USAID/GIAI and has developed and managed financial systems. He has also worked with Kansans State University as a Finance Officer. Mr. Khoshal was born in Alingar district of Laghman province and is fluent in Pashto, English, Dari and has rudimentary understanding of Urdu.
